Okay, people, READ the news. If you don't read it, then LISTEN to it!

Don't send me messages saying my computer has a virus and I sent it to you -- it spoofs e-mail addresses. That means it may come from an address that you think is mine, but I may not even have the virus on my computer! Yeesh -- I don't need lots of 'you sent me a virus' e-mails clogging up my mail, 'kay?

What's up with the laptop now?

The same thing's wrong with the laptop -- it's obviously something more serious than just some corrupted files, so I'm probably going to be bringing it to the Gateway store soon.

However, the rant was about that new stupid e-mail worm that's going around -- I keep getting not only various virus-attached mails [not opening them, of course, just figuring that anything sent directly to me from someone on a mailing list, with a 31k attached file has got to be the virus, since most folks on a mailing list will respond to the list, and none of 'em have reasons to be sending me attachments...], but also messages like "you sent me a virus". Grrr! I don't need my e-mail full of crap messages! :|
