Over the span of the past hour, my Weather Bug has gone off at least 4 times -- first to give a winter storm warning (What?!), then to give a message saying that was transmitted inadvertently and there is no winter weather warning (whew!), then to say there's a BLIZZARD warning (What?!?), and finally to say that 'there are no winter weather warnings for this area; those messages were not transmitted by this office'.

Wonder if they got hacked...

Weird.

Weather Bug is a known host of some of the nastier spyware and 'helpful' programs that's out there (including some that would hijack your IR toolbar and redirect your homepage to ad sites, among other things). It's been known to spawn (no joke) "Mini-Bugs" in your Windows Registry if you remove it.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it got hacked by its own affiliates.
