::sigh:: Too artsy...
Nov. 19th, 2003 03:29 pmI started working on a custom mood theme (Scaper Boyz) last night, but I got too artsy on the images. I took my screencaps from various episodes & did a smart blur on them, then overlaid a colour blob to make them a little more uniform, then shrunk the images down to 100 x 75 px.
Unfortunately, between the overlaid blob and the smart blur, that made the faces a little too blurry to see the expressions on most of them.
Since I did 19 images so far, I'm a little upset about it. BUT, I'm going to try to redo them from the .psd files by shrinking them first and then doing the smart blur. If that doesn't work, I won't blur them (although it makes screencaps look so much better sometimes) or won't do the overlay.
Oh well. We'll see.
